    Materials: Marble Calacatta Viola.

Archivio is a small occasional table constructed from a single sheet of archived Calacatta Viola Marble. The project was developed with the Italian brand, Mille997, who opened up their archive, allowing studio CARA\ DAVIDE to browse their vast collection of prestigious marbles and natural stone. The idea was to repurpose the archived material, transforming it into an object using few and simple technologies. For this reason, the sheet is sliced into smaller pieces and reassembled in a way that creates a volumetric presence through a graphic display of solids and voids.
