Natural stone is porous and will attract substances easily. The table will arrive with a coating to reduce the attraction and will give you extra time to clean spilled liquids and stains but will not prevent it. This material lives and will get patinated like all-natural materials such as wood and leather. We love and embrace these elements of time, that will fade out by usage. If you are not into this mindset, we advise you to choose a different finish (concrete/chalk) or choose the filled and honed option, which will make cleaning easier. Keep in mind this finish will give a different, more intense color to the natural stone.

We also offer concrete or chalk finishings that can be ordered in every desired color and are finished with multiple layers of the coating so you can spill all day long.
