A set of augite (M), olive umber (M), orange ochre (M) & Prussian blue (S) by Daniele Giannetti (Handmade, Hand-Painted)
Dimensions: D24 x H33 augite (M), D20 x H30 Olive Umber (M), D22 x H22 orange ochre (M), D13 x H15 Prussian blue (S).
All pieces are made in terracotta from Montelupo, only fired once, then colored by Daniele Giannetti with a white acrylic base, and then a mixture of acrylic medium, water, and pigments. All vases are rigorously made by hand, without the help of any tool, in a way to express the primary connection between matter, which works a signifier and the deeper understanding of the relationship between humans and nature. These handmade objects subsequently become a new starting point for research into colors and pigments, using traditional materials to create new techniques.
