“The table was made in one continuous process of motion and material exploration; namely clay. A bed of clay is poured on the ground, from which a large basin is hollowed and formed by hand, working in a continuous stretch before the material hardens. From this basin, a cast is made with Gypsum and Powdered Stone. The indentations and marks are permanent documents of my hands’ work and a timestamp of a single moment in-process and experiment.”

The table’s base is hand-packed into a mold, surrounding a concrete counter-weight.
