Belgian designer and art dealer Arno Declercq is acclaimed for his minimalist, functional furniture that merges timeless craftsmanship with contemporary, sustainable living. Working primarily with natural materials such as wood, leather, and stone, his pieces integrate effortlessly into diverse environments while retaining a distinct sculptural presence.
Raised in a family deeply rooted in aesthetics, his father in the Royal Academy of Arts Fashion Department and his mother in avant-garde fashion retail, Declercq inherited a sharp eye for beauty and atmosphere. After studying interior design, he founded a gallery devoted to ethnographic art and design before shifting, in 2017, to creating bespoke furniture. His work draws from the grandeur of historic interiors, the austerity of architectural bunkers, and the visual language of ancient and tribal cultures.
