Stone Stackers is a contemporary design and sculptural practice dedicated to the creation of balanced, architectural compositions in natural stone. Founded by Italian-based husband-and-wife duo Shilpa Srinivas and Paolo Ciacci, the studio explores principles of physical equilibrium and visual harmony through vertical and horizontal arrangements that appear at once monumental and delicately poised.

Working with raw or lightly finished stone, Stone Stackers embraces the inherent weight, texture, and chromatic variation of marble as central aesthetic elements. Each piece reflects a deep understanding of the material’s geological character, allowing natural imperfections to guide form and composition. Traditional masonry techniques are reinterpreted through a modern sculptural sensibility, resulting in works that function equally as art objects and functional design.

Sustainability is integral to the practice. Through a partnership with renowned marble company Simeg Marmi, Stone Stackers gains access to discarded marble blocks, which are reassembled into refined, enduring creations. This process ensures a strong connection to landscape and origin while minimizing waste.
