Malwina Konopacka is a Warsaw-born designer and illustrator whose practice bridges contemporary design, illustration, and sculptural form. Born in 1982, she studied Industrial Design at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw and illustration at the Universität der Künste in Berlin. Her early work as an illustrator for leading publications profoundly shaped her visual language, and it was from this dialogue with drawing that the seminal OKO ceramic collection emerged. Conceived as an exploration of illustration translated into three-dimensional, functional objects, OKO reflects Konopacka’s interest in the expressive potential of everyday forms.
