Volta is a Paris-based practice operating at the intersection of architecture, interior design, and sculptural object-making. Founded in 2016 by Agathe Lavaud, the studio is defined by a meticulous attention to detail and a nuanced dialogue between contemporaneity and tradition. Each project is approached as a singular exploration, shaped by its context and guided by a personalized investigation of volumes, materials, and lived experience. Agathe Lavaud trained in interior design at ESAG Penninghen, graduating in 2014, before continuing her architectural studies at the École Nationale Supérieure d’Architecture de Marne-la-Vallée, including a formative semester in Italy.
