CENTRO is an exploration of the natural characteristics of volcanic stone, brought to life through hand carving. This one-of-a-kind piece is crafted from two slabs of volcanic stone, sourced from the southern provinces of Ecuador. The table’s form evokes the equatorial line, reflecting the unique positioning of our country.
With intricate details visible in every chiseled mark, the organic form contrasts with the rugged edge of the tabletop. The finely carved and polished arch detail on the top pays homage to the colonial and baroque architecture that defines our cultural heritage.
