— Inspired by the jaguar—
In the Aztec civilization, the jaguar was worshiped as a deity; Due to their ability to see in the dark, jaguars were believed to be able to travel between realms.
This sacred animal also represented the image of Tepeyolotl, “The Heart Of The Mountain”, the Aztec god of mountains and earthquakes.
Made out of solid oak wood,this slim console table-with hemispheres all over its frame representing thejaguar’s spots-has solid hand-carved spherical bases under each one of its four legs. This jaguar is ready to pounce.
Handcrafted in Mexico in 2021.
