Description
S3 Chair in Brushed Aluminium by Giotto Pagani.
Dimensions: W 100 x D 60 x H 110 cm
Materials: Non directional brushed finish aluminium.
As part of the Subversive Angles series, the S3 Chair explores the tension between industrial geometry and the human body, transforming a functional object into a radical spatial gesture.
Giotto Pagani is an Italian architect and designer based in Milan and Lisbon. Educated at the Politecnico di Milano, he developed a research-oriented approach grounded in architectural thinking, where construction, proportion, and spatial logic inform every scale of intervention.
After collaborating with Dontstop Architecture and Pagani & Perversi in Italy, he relocated to Portugal, where he currently works with Aires Mateus. This experience further deepened his engagement with models, reduction, and the disciplined relationship between idea and built form.
Pagani’s practice moves between architecture and collectible design through the concept of microarchitecture, objects conceived as condensed spatial structures rather than functional artefacts. His work explores archetypal forms, structural clarity, and material tension, treating each piece as a fragment of architecture translated into domestic scale.
