The city of Pantin wanted to rejuvenate the look of its wedding venue with contemporary furniture while underlining the great neo-Renaissance decor of the building.
The furniture have been imagined as a continuity of the beautiful mural depicting women and children bathing in a lake surrounded by greenery. Atelier Sauvage chose to create solid sycamore pieces of furniture with deliberately sober lines and to let the color from the painting spread in n the room, bridging the gap between the 19th century aesthetic of the decor and the furniture’s contemporary take.
