The Piano ottoman is a collectible piece of furniture that draws its name from the visual rhythm created by its base, reminiscent of piano keys. Crafted from travertine marble, the base is made of a series of vertically aligned slabs that evoke a sense of musical structure. Resting above, a series of welded rectangular aluminum profiles form the central volume, expressing industrial precision and a strong architectural presence. The two elements interlock through a system of precise joinery, fitting together like the teeth of a comb, allowing the aluminum body to slot seamlessly into the marble base. A high-density linen cushion crowns the piece, softening the overall aesthetic and offering tactile comfort against the cool hardness of the metal and stone.
