Cécile Ducommun
5 Picks from PHILIA Collection

Born in 1986 and based in Lentilly, Cécile Ducommun is originally from the French Alps. She’s a ceramist who lives in a village in the Monts du Lyonnais (Rhône, France). Self-taught, she creates mainly stoneware vases and bowls. Entirely hand-modeled, Cécile Ducommun’s ceramics are unique or produced in small series. All have their own singularities.

“An organic and refined silhouette, perfectly proportioned.”
“Like an abstract painting that evolves according to perspective… So poetic!”

“A piece as powerful as it is soft, which seems shaped by the passage of time.”
