Heavy vertical form. The lamp is the result of the designer’s battlefield fascination from his childhood. The designer came from a family with a military tradition. Bullet shells were the first material Jan Garncarek processed while learning the basics of metallurgy. The designer refers to
the shape of the shell. However, he does not identify it with the cruelty of war. The object captures the fascination of the shape and material, completely out of context of war. Just as only an unaware child is able to perceive reality and its beauty without prejudice.
