Jan Garncarek is a Polish designer whose practice explores the intersection of sculpture, craftsmanship, and collectible design. A graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, with further studies at the Politecnico di Milano, he founded his independent studio in 2016 to develop a body of work that balances functional design with sculptural expression. Characterized by a refined use of brass, stone, and metal, his creations investigate the relationship between geometry, materiality, and emotion, resulting in objects that are both tactile and contemplative.

Guided by an intuitive and material-driven approach, Garncarek combines traditional craftsmanship with contemporary forms, creating collectible lighting and furniture distinguished by their architectural presence and meticulous attention to detail.
