British designer Cal Summers creates bespoke handmade furniture and objects that celebrate the interplay of materiality and form. Raised in the Kent countryside in a family of creatives —his father a still-life photographer and his mother an art director —Summers developed an early visual sensibility, shaped by rural landscapes, vernacular architecture, and eclectic artifacts.

A graduate of the University of Brighton in 3D Design and Craft, he combines traditional craftsmanship with modern fabrication techniques, achieving meticulous detail and innovative design. Since 2017, his work has attracted the attention of leading interior designers and architects, and is represented by galleries in New York and Montreal.
