Noé Duchaufour-Lawrance, born in France in 1974, is a celebrated designer whose practice spans furniture, lighting, interiors, and collectible design. Trained in both sculpture and furniture design, he brings a distinctive understanding of form to his work, combining organic silhouettes with architectural clarity. His practice is deeply informed by nature, material honesty, and a profound respect for craftsmanship, resulting in pieces that balance poetic expression with functional precision.
International recognition followed projects such as the Sketch restaurant in London, leading to collaborations with renowned maisons including Hermès, Ligne Roset, and Saint Louis. Now based in Lisbon, Duchaufour-Lawrance continues to develop his vision through Made in Situ, a personal initiative dedicated to collaborating with Portuguese artisans. Through this platform, he reinterprets traditional materials and techniques through a contemporary lens, creating objects that celebrate cultural heritage, longevity, and human experience. His work ultimately establishes a refined dialogue between nature, craft, and modern design.
