Amarist is a Spanish artist duo formed by Clara Campo and Arán Lozano, working at the intersection of contemporary art, collectible design, and social practice.
Founded in 2014, the studio develops functional objects and sculptural works that invite reflection on the world and its imbalances. Their practice is particularly known for the use of alabaster—transformed into luminous, translucent forms that challenge the material’s inherent weight and opacity.
Blurring the boundaries between art, design, and activism, Amarist’s work often addresses environmental and social issues, using material transformation as a metaphor for fragility, change, and collective responsibility.
