Cappelen Dimyr is a Scandinavian design studio founded in 2019 by Ellen Dixdotter and Jacob Cappelen Holst. Based between Copenhagen and Stockholm, the studio creates handcrafted rugs, wall hangings, and textile objects that combine a minimalist Scandinavian sensibility with a rich, tactile aesthetic. Working closely with skilled artisans in India, Cappelen Dimyr employs traditional weaving and knotting techniques using undyed wool, hemp, linen, and other natural fibers.
