Marie Lise Féry is a Paris born designer and founder of Magic Circus Éditions, whose practice explores light as both a poetic and architectural medium. Following her studies in art dealing, she lived in New York, where the city’s architecture, rhythm, and luminous atmosphere profoundly influenced her artistic vision. Upon returning to France, she established an art gallery devoted to a dialogue between historical and contemporary design, developing a refined understanding of objects, craftsmanship, and cultural heritage. This curatorial experience became central to her creative practice, in which design is conceived as a vessel for memory and a language of storytelling.

Founded in 2015, Magic Circus Éditions reflects Féry’s distinctive approach to collectible lighting, reinterpreting the decorative languages of the 1920s, 1930s, and 1970s through a contemporary perspective. Exceptional craftsmanship defines each creation, combining finely worked brass, mouth blown European glass, and meticulously finished wood. Balancing heritage with innovation, her collections and bespoke works transcend function, transforming light into sculptural expressions of elegance, atmosphere, and enduring poetic presence.
