Founded in 2010 by Magda Jurek, Pani Jurek occupies a distinctive space between fine art, craft, and design, creating objects that exist equally as functional forms and sculptural expressions. Trained as a painter, Jurek approaches design through signs, compositions, and installations, weaving personal memories, observations, and quiet intuitions into tactile, poetic forms. Materiality and craftsmanship remain central to the practice. Working predominantly in ceramics, Jurek embraces the possibilities and limitations of her materials, with every piece handmade and closely overseen in her studio.
