Stone Stacker philia

Stone Stackers is a contemporary design and sculptural practice founded by Italian-based duo Shilpa Srinivas and Paolo Ciacci, exploring balance, architectural composition, and the inherent beauty of natural stone. Their works combine vertical and horizontal arrangements that appear simultaneously monumental and delicately poised, transforming marble into sculptural and functional objects.

Working with raw or lightly finished stone, the studio embraces marble’s natural weight, texture, color, and imperfections as essential elements of each composition. Traditional masonry techniques are reinterpreted through a contemporary sculptural language, allowing material and form to remain in dialogue. Sustainability is central to the practice: through a partnership with Simeg Marmi, discarded marble blocks are reclaimed and transformed into enduring works, minimizing waste while preserving their connection to the landscape. Defined by craftsmanship and freedom of making, Stone Stackers creates timeless pieces for interiors, public spaces, and outdoor environments.
