Marten and Joost are the founders of Plasticiet, a Dutch design studio dedicated to transforming plastic waste into collectible design, furniture, and architectural applications. Through experimentation, craftsmanship, and material research, they challenge conventional perceptions of recycled plastic, revealing its potential as a durable, refined, and aesthetically compelling material. Working from their workshop in Delft, Marten and Joost develop handcrafted pieces and bespoke commissions ranging from one-off collectible works to larger-scale interior and architectural projects.
