Andrés Monnier is a Mexican designer, sculptor, and founder of Monnier Studio, based in Ensenada, Baja California. Working at the intersection of art, design, and sculpture, his practice explores the expressive potential of natural materials through collectible furniture and sculptural objects. Drawing inspiration from philosophy, mythology, nature, and the passage of time, Monnier develops works distinguished by their bold forms, material honesty, and strong narrative character.

Working primarily with stone—his signature material—alongside wood, metal, glass, and concrete, Monnier combines traditional craftsmanship with an experimental approach to material and form.
