Laurene Guarneri is a Paris-based artisan designer whose practice centers on mirrors as poetic objects of everyday life. Educated at the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts de Paris-Cergy and the École Supérieure d’Arts & Médias de Caen, she founded her eponymous studio in 2018 to pursue an artisanal, material-driven approach to design.

Her creations are inspired by fleeting and ephemeral moments—sunlight shifting across a room, the colors of the sky, or the quiet presence of rain. Each mirror captures this sensitivity, distilling simplicity and poetry into objects that move beyond function to become contemplative companions in daily life.

Craftsmanship lies at the heart of her practice. Every piece is handmade in her Paris workshop, produced in limited quantities that honor the rhythm of studio time and the integrity of material gestures. She works primarily with Belgian glass and mirror, carefully recycling offcuts into new forms such as pocket mirrors and brooches, ensuring a thoughtful approach to sustainability.

Through this philosophy, her work reflects both restraint and delicacy—artifacts of quiet observation, offering an enduring invitation to pause, reflect, and dwell in the beauty of the everyday.
