Founded in 2021 in Itajaí, Brazil, PROSA is the creative collaboration of architect Júlia Rovigo and woodworker Gabriel Pesca. The studio was born from a shared desire to merge their disciplines and translate this dialogue into the design and execution of contemporary furniture.
Dedicated to a deep exploration of wood, PROSA draws on the knowledge and techniques of classic naval carpentry, where strength and durability meet organic curves and fluid forms. Each piece reflects an experimental approach to materiality, reinterpreting wood’s natural characteristics in innovative ways.
With a focus on nature, the people who inhabit it, and the evolving relationship between the two, PROSA’s work is defined by thoughtful craftsmanship and a timeless sensitivity to form and function.
