Established in 2014, FAINA is the embodiment of Victoria Yakusha’s “live design” ethos—an approach born amid Ukraine’s Revolution of Dignity. Working with clay, wood, and natural fibers, Yakusha channels the vernacular traditions of her homeland into furniture and lighting released in harmony with the solstices, making the act of unveiling as seasonal and cyclical as the work itself.
These objects are more than design; they are vessels of cultural continuity, each one a quiet but resolute act of preservation. Rooted in folklore yet refined to an almost architectural clarity, FAINA’s pieces speak to resilience and rebirth, offering a modern Ukrainian voice that is at once intimate and universal.
