Carla Baz is a Lebanese designer based in Beirut whose work bridges contemporary design and traditional craftsmanship. Educated in Paris and Lausanne, she studied Interior Architecture at ESAG Penninghen and Product Design at ECAL before gaining professional experience with internationally renowned studios, including Zaha Hadid Architects and Vivienne Westwood.

Since establishing her own practice, Baz has developed a body of work distinguished by its sculptural elegance, material sensitivity, and close collaboration with skilled artisans. Moving between furniture, objects, and collectible design, she creates pieces that balance ornament and simplicity while exploring themes of culture, memory, and craftsmanship. Her work has received international recognition, including the Maison&Objet Rising Talent Award and the Fondation Boghossian Design Prize.
