
Emerging from a lineage of architects and artisans, New York-based designer Bec Brittain crafts lighting that ignites the imagination and transforms interior spaces. Trained at Parsons, NYU, and the Architectural Association in London, Brittain developed her expertise while creating bespoke hardware and later as Design Director for Lindsey Adelman Studio. After founding her own studio in Brooklyn in 2011, she debuted the critically acclaimed SHY Lighten innovative fixture that interweaves luxurious materials with an intuitive understanding of form. Now working in Manhattan, Brittain collaborates closely with local craftspeople, her work lauded for poetic geometry and the ability to evoke both the industrial and the ethereal.
