Bec Brittain is a New York–based designer whose practice centers on sculptural lighting that merges material innovation with a refined sense of form. Trained at Parsons, New York University, and the Architectural Association in London, she established her studio in Brooklyn in 2011 after serving as Design Director at Lindsey Adelman Studio.

Drawing on influences from architecture, craft, and contemporary art, Brittain creates lighting pieces distinguished by their geometric clarity, material richness, and expressive presence. Working closely with skilled artisans, her designs explore the intersection of function and sculpture, resulting in works that balance technical precision with a sense of elegance and wonder.
