Kimy Gringoire

Kimy Gringoire is a Belgian-Korean artist and designer working between Brussels and Paris. Beginning her career in jewelry, she has gradually expanded her practice into sculpture, furniture, lighting, and installations. Her work explores the relationship between adornment and objects on a larger scale, carrying forms and ideas from her jewelry collections into collectible design. The heart is a recurring motif in her practice, through which she explores themes of love, intimacy, and duality, developing a visual language that extends across different scales and disciplines.

Moving between functional objects and sculptural expression, Gringoire’s creations reflect her interest in the relationship between form, material, and space. Her practice encompasses seating, lighting, and installations, exploring how objects can exist both as functional pieces and independent sculptures. Her work has been presented at MASA Gallery in Mexico City and in Sacralisation of Light, an exhibition at Townhouse Inge Gelaude in Ghent in 2025. Through her multidisciplinary approach, Gringoire continues to develop her practice across jewelry, art, and collectible design.
