Venezuelan-born and Berlin-based artist Jojo Corväiá straddles the line between design and ceramic sculpture. Drawing on a lifelong fascination with geological forces, Corväiá creates ceramic works that appear at once ancient and futuristic—vessels and forms that seem unearthed from an undiscovered civilization. His process is intensely physical, shaped by hand without molds or machinery, and often leaves visible the marks of making.
The results are raw, textured, and elemental, oscillating between functional object and pure art form. Corväiá’s work has been exhibited internationally, attracting collectors who seek objects infused with both primal energy and refined material intelligence.
