TIPSTUDIO is a design studio founded by Imma Matera and Tommaso Lucarini, working across design, art, and critical research. Based between Florence and Pietrasanta, the studio draws deeply from the cultural, artisanal, and geological character of its surroundings, exploring the expressive potential of materials and production processes.

Experimentation lies at the heart of TIPSTUDIO’s practice. Projects emerge through research into physical and cultural landscapes, local narratives, and anthropological observation, translated into furniture, collectible objects, and site-responsive installations. The studio balances conceptual depth with formal clarity, creating works that are both intellectually engaging and sensorial. Its practice spans industrial collaborations, limited editions, and creative research with galleries, brands, and private clients. In 2022, TIPSTUDIO was selected for Talent on Show by Elle Decor during Milan Design Week. Matera and Lucarini also teach Product Design at IED Florence.
