Pendhapa is a multidisciplinary architecture and design studio founded in 2019 by architects Antonin Hautefort and Ignatio Tenggara, who met while studying at the Architectural Association School of Architecture in London. Drawing on their French and Southeast Asian backgrounds, the founders bring together different cultural perspectives in an approach that explores the relationship between architecture, craftsmanship, and contemporary design. With studios in London, Paris, Milan, and Singapore, Pendhapa works across architecture, interior design, and collectible furniture, seeking to create distinctive spaces and objects with a sense of timelessness.
The studio’s practice encompasses residential, hospitality, and retail projects, with an emphasis on responding to the character of each location and its surrounding environment. Alongside its architectural work, Pendhapa has established an in-house furniture workshop, bringing designers and makers together to develop collectible pieces as an extension of its architectural vision. Through this integration of design and craftsmanship, the studio explores the possibilities of materials, forms, and production across different scales, connecting functional objects with a broader architectural perspective.
