ZEMNA is a Ukrainian studio of functional art dedicated to creating sculptural furniture, lighting, and decorative objects that merge raw emotion with refined craftsmanship. Founded in 2021 by Tetiana Krasutska and Andrii Dobryanskyi, the studio explores themes of inner truth — the path toward self-discovery, acceptance, and strength.
Krasutska works through a bionic language — organic and sensual — translating inner experiences and childhood memories into tactile forms. Dobryanskyi responds through silence and precision, shaping restrained and contemplative objects. Together, they forge a dialogue between wildness and clarity, instinct and intention.
ZEMNA’s vision is to help people reconnect with their primal strength. Each piece invites touch and reflection, evoking freedom through form. The studio defines its aesthetic as Archaic Biomorphism, where raw, untamed shapes serve as metaphors for protecting the human core — that sacred place where sensitivity transforms into power.
Every object is handcrafted in collaboration with skilled artisans, with certain works, such as TYSHA, produced in limited numbers due to their sculptural complexity. Materials like tin, steel, walnut, beech, ceramics, and textiles are selected for their graceful aging — each piece designed to endure, evolve, and be passed down through generations.
ZEMNA creates not merely objects, but enduring companions in the ritual of living.
