Six Dots Design is a London-based design studio founded by Joseph Ellwood, working across furniture, lighting, objects, and spatial installations. With a background in architecture and furniture making, Ellwood established the studio as a platform for experimentation, developing a distinctive practice that brings together functional design, hands-on making, and an expressive approach to form.

Working predominantly with aluminium, Six Dots Design creates furniture and objects through a combination of traditional metalworking techniques and industrial processes. Bold silhouettes, playful proportions, and visible traces of fabrication give the studio’s pieces a direct and individual character. Moving between collectible pieces and more accessible small-batch production, Six Dots Design explores an approach to contemporary design that favours individuality, craftsmanship, and experimentation over conventional mass production.
