Rejo Studio

REJO is a Riyadh- and Istanbul-based furniture design studio, founded in 2017 by Palestinian architects Reem Olyan and Jumana Qasem. The studio seeks to elevate identity and cultural heritage through furniture and object design, creating works that merge boldness, artistry, and narrative depth. Each piece reflects a dialogue between history and contemporary expression, where abstract forms, simplicity, and vibrant craftsmanship celebrate culture, beauty, and resilience.

REJO’s work has been showcased at major international design events, including Milan Design Week, Dubai Art Week, London Craft Week, Dubai Design Week, the Diriyah Biennale of Contemporary Art, and Misk Art Week. Recognized as one of Dwell 24’s Best Emerging Designers in 2024, the studio previously received Harper’s Bazaar Interiors’ “Best Regional Furniture Brand” award.

Collaborations with distinguished brands further highlight their approach: with Cappellini, REJO designed the RED Bookcase, combining functionality with bold artistic vision, and with DESIGNEAST X JAIPUR RUGS, they created a locally crafted rug that embodies community engagement and material storytelling.

Their latest collection of vases and bowls was presented at Friends Art Space in Washington, DC (2025). REJO’s designs are featured in publications including Architectural Digest, Sight Unseen, IDEAT, Forbes Life, Identity, and ELLE Decoration, offering a distinct fusion of cultural narrative and contemporary design sensibility.
