Slash Objects is a design studio founded by architect and designer Arielle Assouline-Lichten, with a practice centered on the exploration of materials, form, and function. Working across furniture and objects, the studio approaches design through an interest in material experimentation and the relationship between contrasting textures and surfaces. Its work brings together natural and industrial materials, creating pieces that reconsider familiar forms and explore new possibilities for their use in contemporary interiors.
Through a multidisciplinary approach, Slash Objects develops collections characterized by sculptural forms, considered proportions, and distinctive material combinations. Marble, stone, and metal are brought together to highlight their individual qualities while creating a dialogue between different textures, weights, and finishes. Working with skilled fabricators, the studio places importance on craftsmanship and the thoughtful use of materials throughout the production process. Its creations move between functional design and sculptural expression, reflecting an ongoing interest in how materials can shape the character and experience of everyday objects.
