Warm Nordic is a Danish design brand dedicated to celebrating the warmth, intimacy, and enduring relevance of Scandinavian design. Rooted in the strong Nordic design tradition, the brand builds a bridge between past and present—between heritage and renewal—by reintroducing overlooked furniture and lighting designs from the 1950s and 1960s in contemporary colors, materials, and textiles.
Founded by Frantz Longhi, a long-time collector of vintage Scandinavian design, Warm Nordic was born from a desire to preserve and revive iconic works that risked being lost to private collections and auction houses. After furnishing his Kähler Design restaurants in Aarhus with classic Nordic pieces and witnessing the public’s enthusiasm for these designs, Longhi initiated close collaborations with the descendants of original designers such as Hans Olsen and Knud Færch. Together, they ensure that this design legacy is respectfully carried forward.
Alongside its Classic Collection, Warm Nordic also collaborates with contemporary designers who contribute new works defined by distinctive forms and expressive color palettes. The dialogue between historical and contemporary pieces highlights the timeless quality of Scandinavian design—its independence from fleeting trends and generations.
Warm Nordic is driven by a belief in hygge: a warm, genuine, and unpretentious way of living. Rejecting the notion of “Cool Nordic,” the brand embraces a sensibility that is inviting, tactile, and emotionally resonant. Through a carefully curated universe, Warm Nordic offers design lovers a renewed appreciation for Scandinavian interiors—where simplicity, warmth, and lasting quality coexist.
