Odami is a design studio offering architectural, interior, and furniture design services, founded in 2017 by Spanish architect Aránzazu González Bernardo and Canadian designer Michael Norman Fohring. The studio’s practice is rooted in close collaboration—working alongside clients and craftsmen from the earliest stages to ensure that each project is thoughtfully conceived and meticulously executed. Primarily engaged in residential and commercial commissions, Odami prioritizes timelessness, functionality, and craftsmanship, creating spaces and objects with a strong yet enduring aesthetic presence.

Guided by a holistic design philosophy, Odami’s work is defined by clarity, material sensitivity, and a commitment to projects that not only look refined but also feel intuitive and lasting. Every detail is carefully considered, resulting in environments and furnishings that stand the test of time through both design integrity and construction quality.

Complementing the studio’s architectural practice is One Wood, a woodworking atelier dedicated to the creation of unique, hand-crafted furniture. The process begins with the careful selection and salvaging of trees otherwise destined to be discarded, transforming overlooked material into lasting objects of beauty. From forest to finished piece, the team remains intimately involved in every step—processing, shaping, and sculpting the wood by hand. In parallel, seedlings are replanted to support forest regeneration and biodiversity. This deep engagement with both material and landscape ensures furniture that carries not only aesthetic value, but a meaningful connection to nature, sustainability, and generations to come.
