Odami philia

Odami, founded in 2017 by Spanish architect Aránzazu González Bernardo and Canadian designer Michael Norman Fohring, is a multidisciplinary studio working across architecture, interiors, and furniture. Rooted in close collaboration with clients and craftsmen, Odami creates residential and commercial projects defined by clarity, functionality, timelessness, and meticulous attention to detail. Its holistic approach combines aesthetic refinement, material sensitivity, and enduring construction quality, resulting in spaces and objects designed to remain relevant over time.

Alongside its architectural practice, One Wood is the studio’s woodworking atelier, creating unique handcrafted furniture from carefully selected and salvaged trees. Each piece is shaped through an intimate process of processing, sculpting, and finishing the wood by hand, preserving its natural character. The atelier also supports forest regeneration through replanting initiatives. Through this connection between craftsmanship, material, and landscape, Odami and One Wood create thoughtful works that unite contemporary design with sustainability, authenticity, and a lasting connection to nature.
