Julian Mayor (b. 1976) is a British artist and designer based in South Yorkshire whose practice explores the intersection of digital technology, industrial fabrication, and sculptural form. Working primarily with welded sheet metal, he transforms computer-generated models into sculptural furniture and objects through cutting, folding, and welding, balancing geometric precision with the expressive qualities of the handmade. Rooted in a background in industrial design, his work investigates the relationship between structure, light, material, and perception.

Combining advanced digital processes with meticulous craftsmanship, Mayor creates works distinguished by faceted forms, dynamic surfaces, and a shifting visual presence. His sculptures blur the boundaries between art, design, and architecture, transforming industrial materials into refined compositions that evoke both structural precision and organic fluidity. His work has been exhibited internationally at institutions including the Victoria and Albert Museum, the Museum of Arts and Design in New York, MUDAC Lausanne, and Yorkshire Sculpture Park, alongside permanent public commissions in the United Kingdom.
