V.Brokkr is a studio founded by silversmith Ned Vernon, whose practice explores architectural hardware through the lens of traditional metalworking. Trained as a silversmith and having worked under Australian and German masters, Vernon approaches objects with a deep respect for craftsmanship and material integrity.
Drawing inspiration from architecture, cultural rituals and historical symbolism associated with the door — protection, passage and the idea of home — the studio develops objects that sit between functional hardware and sculptural design. Influenced by Brutalism and Italian mid-century design, V.Brokkr combines traditional silversmithing techniques with a contemporary sensibility.
Working primarily in noble metals and producing limited editions, the studio creates enduring pieces designed to age gracefully and become lasting elements within architectural spaces.
