Metalmorphosis Studio is the independent practice of Italian artist and designer Andrea Nicolini, dedicated to the creation of collectible furniture and sculptural objects in metal. Founded in Piacenza, the studio explores the intersection of functional design and sculpture, using steel as its primary medium to investigate the relationship between structure, material, and the human body.

Driven by a process of reduction, Metalmorphosis Studio strips forms back to their essential structural elements, transforming industrial materials into sculptural compositions that convey tension, balance, and presence. Entirely handcrafted in mild steel, each work combines traditional metalworking techniques with contemporary fabrication technologies, resulting in pieces that are both architecturally rigorous and emotionally expressive.
