    5 Picks from PHILIA Collection

Lucas Huillet is an interior architect, designer, and ceramicist whose practice is rooted in transdisciplinarity. He plays with references and inspirations to create objects and spaces that can be read like narratives. From conception to execution, his creative process is a constant dialogue between drawing and material.

Since 2019, his studio has been designing and producing a collection of ceramic objects made entirely in his workshop. Attentive to contemporary environmental concerns, Lucas places a strong focus on the sustainability of his production. In the same spirit, the studio supports brands and institutions with holistic projects integrating storytelling, object design, and spatial design.

Lucas has collaborated with major cultural institutions and luxury houses, including the French Ministry of Culture, the National Archives, the Musée des Arts Décoratifs, and the Paris Design and Fashion Bureau. The studio has also developed expertise in high-end projects with renowned brands such as Chanel, le 19M, DSM-Firmenich, and the Goodmoods creative studio.

“I love the way Laurene brings fluidity to glass, restoring to reflection and light their living, ever-shifting qualities.”

“This piece gives voice to the intelligence of material, using a process that reinterprets natural formations through recycled matter, as if regenerating the material itself.”

“A timeless classic whose line is unforgettable and continues to resonate across generations.”
“Designing an object also means imagining how it will age; bronze is a living material that develops a patina and stands in beautiful contrast to the instantaneity of mirror-polished steel.”

“Textiles complete a space: they aren’t merely 2D objects but have a sensory impact, softening sound and adding relief underfoot.”
