Karin Amdal’s work is grounded in ideas and themes inspired by contemporary moments and personal experiences. Working with simple, geometric forms, Amdal hand-builds each piece, leaving the exterior unglazed and allowing the natural colours of the various clays to speak for themselves. Her background as an art director and designer, along with a strong appreciation for graphic wit and logical thinking, continues to inform and shape her artistic practice.
