Ayres is a Mexico City-based design studio founded and led by Textile Designer Karim Molina from Caracas. Her multicultural heritage and rich experiences in Venezuela, Argentina, Italy, and Mexico have shaped her vision as a textile and object designer. Over more than a decade, Ayres has developed a sophisticated aesthetic that blends functionality with sculptural scale. Ayres seeks to create anachronic, collectible objects where nature and architecture align.

Renowned for its distinctive approach to materiality, Ayres works mainly with marble and lava stone, reinterpreting these traditionally rigid materials through a feminine sensibility of form expressed in subtle and delicate textures. As a result, each work delivers both durability and intimacy to the space it inhabits. Dedicated to collectible product design, Ayres undertakes commissioned projects ranging from individual pieces to comprehensive collections.
